Holophonix is the preferred immersive sound diffusion system chosen by the most discerning venues, including the Théâtre du Vieux Colombier, La Gaieté Lyrique and La Scala Paris.
Conceived with the help of internationally renowned French artistic institutions, it was developed by the company Amadeus in partnership with the STMS joint research lab (Sciences et Technologies de la Musique et du Son), uniting IRCAM, CNRS (the French National Centre for Scientific Research), Sorbonne University and the French Ministry of Culture.
Holophonix features many of IRCAM’s spatialization technologies, including Ircam Spat, a real-time spatial audio processor, which can be used to control the localization of sound sources in 3D acoustic spaces.
